Birth: A PreBorn’s Soulful Journey

So what is a ‘PreBorn’ or  what I sometimes lovingly  like to  refer to as an ‘Incoming’? A preborn resides in utero as it awaits the process of birth. This  remarkable experience of a  developing physical body,  incubating  within its mothers womb, suggests the possibility of connecting in a new way. Take a moment to think about that. It is truly the only time in life when two souls are so intimately connected as they share one body (physical).

My personal journey has led me to this work and I would like to make it clear that I am not alone. There have been many books written and experiences shared embracing these ideals. As usual I urge you to do the research.  Bottom line, you might  find  that when a woman is open to her intuitiveness,  she can connect with her preborn  in a truly remarkable way. The empathetic connection of  two hearts, a mother and preborn, stabilizes an exchange of   energy linking them not only through their shared birth voyage but forever.

How many times have you read or heard the powerful accounts that women have shared of  dreamlike experiences before the birth of their child.  Perhaps some of you have had that experience?  Partners or those closet to a pregnancy  have often times reported a deep connection with an ‘incoming’ as well. Why do you suppose that is?  Is there something during that time that if nourished, can offer a lens  to peer deeper,  bringing into focus the seed of a generation to come.

Why in the heck are we not utilizing this unique period to orient the preborn’s to the birth mothers in support of their  birth experience.   This could very well be  the greatest and most opportune time to build that relationship  at a soul level. It is happening anyway, so you might as well enter into it utilizing  the proper tools, stimulating  a greater awareness. However, if you believe that there is only a bunch of pulsating and pumping bodily bones and organs  peppered with chemical exchanges going on  in that stomach of yours  then this article is not for you. Or, if you view  the birthing experience from a victim point of view, another words buying into the belief that it represents suffering   then again this article may not be for you.  BUT, if you have the slightest intuitive sense, you know that wonderment and knowing, then give yourself permission to embrace,  with an open mind, a new perspective about birth. It does not matter what your spiritual background might be,  no matter how you view it  the birth of life is miraculous. It does not matter who  you choose to owe that to, that is a personal choice. But why not explore  birth as a soulful experience and a testament to life not suffering.

Some of you may be carrying a child at this very moment. Some of you may never have that experience whether by choice or circumstances but the fact remains that we as women all share in the possibility.  We are conduits in which  the essence of  life manifests.   This is the seed of significance that inspires life to continue,  reaffirming  the subtle qualities of existence.

Some women are here to birth ideas, some to birth relationships and so on.  It does not matter we all share in this journey in one way or another. Each of us is significant  in the role we play to that end.  The important thing is that we all understand and support each other no matter how life plays out.

I love working with women that choose to explore a soulful birthing experience. They discover a deep connection rather than  frustration and or anxiousness while anticipating the fearful birth experience that they have come to accept.  I practiced as a HypnoBirthing Practitioner  for a time and as wonderful as that program and other natural child-birth programs are I wanted to explore more of what they had barely  scratched the surface. I wanted to learn what could be done in greater support of those programs.

What would it feel like to orient your preborn to the life that lays before them.  To partner with them in a dance that is shared during the  many months of pregnancy, stirring an intimate language all their own.  What would your birth experience be like?  Look, everyone has  different experiences,  that is the cool thing about it.  You cannot read how  in a ‘How To’ book.  I cannot teach an expectant mother what it will be like.  I can only guide and support her on her pilgrimage as  we collectively explore the many holistic techniques available to her as greater awareness  unfolds.

Open your heart, joining it to the heart  of your preborn and become part of one of the most fascinating experiences that you will ever share.  Will there be challenges…possibly.  As some of you may have read in a previous blog ‘Angels Come In All Shapes And Sizes’  that two of my eleven grandchildren have special needs. I want to be clear that this is not about learning the sex of your child, or how long the birth may take.  Actually that has very little to do with it.  The PreBorn Orientation program is about awareness. It is about setting aside negative beliefs and  discovering courage  through  realization in  a place and time that you may have never considered.  Where  ever that  leads you  it is part of both your stories  and the stories of all the other lives that will be touched by your childs presence.
